Jack Philp doing well in the USA
We are delighted to learn that one of our former members Jack Philp has agreed to join Washington based NPSL team – Kitsap Soccer Club in time for the beginning of the big summer kick-off.
Jack, is currently in his Freshman Year with New York based SunBelt Conference Cracks – Hartwick College and has made the decision to remain in the United States over the summer to play at a high level in preparation for his big sophomore year starting in the fall.
Jack joined the Hartwick Hawks from the Sporting Futures USA Program after a stellar youth career in Scotland where he played as a championship winning captain of Tynecastle FC.
He is a versatile player who can play in just about any position on the field with a high level of confidence and assuredness.
The Fall season of 2017 promises to be a massive one for Jack and his Hartwick team-mates as they seek to reclaim their conference title after relinquishing it to SunBelt new boys Coastal Carolina last year.
For Jack, a summer playing for Kitsap FC in Washington will be the perfect way to prepare himself and will give him a platform to showcase his future professional credentials at a really good level.
Kitsap FC are managed by former American National Team striker Roy Lassiter and will lead the team in their inaugural NPSL season having achieved a storied history in the PDL Leagues.
They play at 1500 capacity Gordon Field in the town of Bremerton and can call upon a large, noisy fanbase who love their soccer in this part of the world.
